I am back.

Nothing to say today. Just sitting around enjoying the bright sun shine for a change. Meeting missionary at the church and taking him to the airport at 4PM. I have lost 6 pounds in the last week, hope to lose about 10 more.

October Thoughts

Hello All,
It is a cool, rainy afternoon in Henry County. I have already been to the BOE and finished all my hearings by 11:00AM. I also have had a 2 hour nap. Not much is going on around our street. I am so mad at my home owners ins. (State Farm). They have turned me down for a new roof 2 times. I filed a claim for hail damage about a month ago. All my neighbors were approved. My house and one other just up the street were not. I am not thru with them yet, I am going to the State Ins. Comm. and see what he can do. That is all I have on my mind today. Talk again later.

Ramblings

Just a few thoughts on a Sunday afternoon. We have had a beautful day with sunshine and no wind. It was a great day at church also A fine sermon from Dr. Mel. We had a good lunch of vegetables , then had a short nap. Wife bought lots of flowers Sat. and that will be Mondays project. I met at the airport 3 missionaries this past week. 2 from Africa and 1 from southeast Asia. What a joy for me to be able to help them out when they come to the states on leave.

News of the day

We have cut 17 trees around our house. It looks like a diffferent place. Will take a while to get used to it. Landscapers came yesterday to work on shrubs and reseeding grass. They removed some steps made from crossties that were rotting and are putting rock slabs in it place. Should look good when finished. We had a hard rain early today so no yard work today. That is all for now.

Hello Again Cyberworld, I have been away for a few weeks but willtry to do better in the future. We are finished at the capitol and I am glad. I was getting tired of that ride downtown every day. not much is going on these days we are just hanging out and catching up on our rest.

Saturday morning,
15 days done at the House of Rep. only 25 left. It really go by fast after u get started. Nothing much going on, just work and sleep. Pray for our country that we will not slip into socialism under the radical leaders that we now have.

Hello again cyberspace, I am back. Have been busy during holiday season and also forgot my password. Chalk that up to old age I guess. My Dr. said it was caused by to many birthdays.
Well Shirley and me have started work at the Georgia House of Reps. again . We enjoy doing this during the cold months and it is only 40 days, plus the pay is nice. $100 dollars a day for each of us. Pretty good for doing almost nothing. Also we get to meet lots of intresting people.
I enjoy reading all the blogs from uall. The pictures also. Hope to learn how to get my pictures off the camera and on my emails and blogs.
